I notice that there are *terrible* problems with tk (and consequently vtcl) with regard to focus control. Those of us who are experimenting with vtcl and tk on Windows 95, where focus-on-open is a convention, are stymied by the fact that when we run an application, we may not be able to immediately use the keyboard. I have found that liberal use of the "focus -force ..." command helps out with this. What I don't understand is; why does the tk manual discourage the use of the "-force" option? --Chuck --------------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the Visual Tcl mailing list, please send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe vtcl [EMAIL PROTECTED]" in the message body (where [EMAIL PROTECTED] is your e-mail address).
