I would like to start out by apologizing for my general lack of
availability over the last few months. My interest in Visual Tcl has not
waned, but the workload at my paying job has prevented all but the
 scantest attention on my part.

Naturally, I have a monsterous backlog of personal and list-related vtcl
mail. The list has also doubled in size during this time. I imagine this
is due in part to Sun's recent press on "Sunscript" and vtcl's inclusion
 in recent RedHat Linux releases.

I've made a couple of changes to the list. First, the Subject line of
all list-mail should now be prepended with "[vtcl]" for easier sorting
by your favorite mail program. Second, there should now be a footer
attached to all messages describing how to get off the list (though this
 hasn't been a problem that I know of). I say "should" since I haven't
tested it yet; this message is the test.

Since I am anxious to get another patch release out and I know there are
many who have sent in bug fixes, I am asking that you please re-send your
patches to me (not the list) with "[patch]" in the header. If you have
access to the "diff" program on unix or windows, please use this to
create your patch and make it a "unified" diff with the "-u" option.
I've most likely made changes to the program which prevent your patches
from being applied cleanly and this is easier to read.

 Thanks,

 -stewart-
