My problem isn't the same as yours. vtcl-1.3.0 does run on
my system (Red Hat 6.1 and TCL/Tk-8.0.5).

Looking at the timestamps of the files in the distribution it
appears that Stewart hasn't worked on vtcl since October 98.

This means that many patches that have been submitted to the
list won't be present in vtcl-1.3.0.

vtcl-1.2.0 is still the current, stable, release and I guess
we should stick with it.

If Stewart is listening, would it be possible to produce a pl1
release of vtcl-1.2.0 so that new users could have as many
working features as possible?
