Hi, friends--

John and Kathy Roberts, a husband-and-wife team who were part of a U.S. fact-finding delegation to Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon and Syria, will be coming to Vermont on April 14 (please see below for more information). They are interested in setting up speaking engagements to groups on the topic "The Core Issue of the Palestine/Israel Conflict . . . A Just Solution for Palestinian Refugees."

Other Boston area delegates on the fact finding trip were Ken Barney (Boston Coalition for Palestinian Rights and the ISM), Elaine Hagopian (Emerita, Sociology, Simmons College), Janice Hayden (Visions of Peace with Justice in Israel/Palestine), Naseem Khuri (American Diaspora Alliance for Israeli/Palestinian Peace), Rania Matar (Photographer), and Cornelia Sullivan (Pax Christi Boston).

Mark Hage will be interviewing them for "Salaam/Shalom."  Perhaps others in VTJP may want to invite them to address local civic, educational, and religious organizations. According to the program brochure, there are no fees attached to the programs. However, the program sponsor may need to provide audio-visual equipment.

Contact information for them follows below.

It would probably be a good idea for anyone who schedules them to post the information to the group, so that everyone will know if and when they'll be speaking in the area.

Best,
Kris
