I have started using VTP 3, and have checked out the source. I have
created and submitted patches for a couple of bugs.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=249150 for the editor not
handling unknown primitive elements very gracefully.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=249164 about improving the
behavior of the Application wizard slightly.
I also notice that there is currently no build system for vtp, I have
some previous experience with PDE build, and have a skeleton project if
that would be of interest.
