I used Help, Install new software. Then I copied the
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/vtp/helios site into the "work
with"box and then hit "add". Another box appeared with the title "Add
repository". It wanted the name and location filled in. I tried several
options and could never get it to work. It just locked up my eclipse
session.

Then I tried using the "available SoftwareSites" option. I was able to add
the new site, but it still would not connect.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tom

What steps did you take when trying to install from the helios update site?

I am trying to install openVXML into my eclipse(helios). I tried the site
that was mentioned in the forum,
http://download.eclipse.org/technology/vtp/helios/
but I cannot access it. Is there another method I could use to install the
software? I was able to download VTP-3.0_12008630.zip, which contains the
jar files, but there is no install software. Can I simply copy the jar files
to the eclipse/plugins or do I need to create a directory (maybe
org.eclipse.vtp) in the plugins directory?

Thanks for your help,

Tom G
