Sounds like you probably have a dynamic ip address that is assigned after Vuurmuur is started? If so you have a few options: You can add a "post up" command somewhere doing either: vuurmuur_script --reload, or /etc/init.d/vuurmuur restart Otherwise you can tell Vuurmuur to keep an eye on your dynamic interface and tell it to reload when the ip changes. To do that go to "Vuurmuur Config -> Interface" and enable "check dynamic interfaces for changes" and set the interval... Hope this helps!
