Thx Justin. I had actually started on that route, load and edit out lines but I thought I was weeding out too many lines that might affect the operations of OFR. I'll continue the journey from here with this tip.

If you have a small configuration, it's probably easiest to re-enter it; as root, remove /opt/vyatta/etc/config/config.boot, or rename (mv) it to a backup version. With a large configuration, I've handled this by keeping two console windows open. In the first one, use the Vyatta CLI and issue a "load config.boot" from config mode. It'll tell you what lines in the configuration it doesn't understand. In the second window, log on as root, and edit /opt/vyatta/etc/config/config.boot, and correct/remove the the lines the 2.2 version doesn't understand. Repeat the edit/load steps until it does start up! Unfortunately, there's no really easy way - I've done the same process enough times myself :-) Justin On 8/29/07, YUUNI, OSAY OSMAN <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > > Hi, > > > > Maybe this has been posted somewhere but I've not found it in the twiki. > Can someone point me in the right direction on how to convert my version 1.0 > config.boot file into version 2.2 format?
