I'm still having problems with that earlier machine and VC2.
It fails after: "Begin: Mounting root filesystem... ..."
and displays:

BusyBox v1.1.3 (Debian 1:1.1.3-3) built-in shell (ash)
Enter 'help' for a list of built-in commands.
/bin/sh: can't access tty; job control turned off
(initramfs)

I got a different machine to also get vyatta working on -- vyatta boots on
that luckily (but yes I'm stubborn and would like vyatta on the other one
still ;P ). But getting things to work isn't a sure thing yet.

I also have two quad port pci cards I want to get working, among some single
port cards that seem to be recognized.
They are "Phobos P-430" - 100Mbit RJ-45 cards. Not sure if the right
modules are loading b/c I can't find them with "lspci" on vyatta or
"ifconfig." According to online manuals and Linux resource sites, the
module needed for the P-430 cards should be built into the kernel -- it
should be "tulip.o" or something close to that.

If anyone has any ideas, give me a yell. This will be my precious box when
fully configured.
Please and Thanks,
Mike
