Ok, all that I need is to maximaze site availability using multihoming, with
two ISP's, and when primary link fail the equipment move traffic over the other
link, and when primary link restablished traffic return over this link.

The term "automatic backup link" doesn't have any sort of
standard meaning in the networking world (that I'm aware of). Thus, you'll have
to provide some more detail about the behavior you want to create. Any routing
protocol (BGP, OSPF, RIP, etc.) can help provide a "backup link," but I have no
idea if the behavior they provide is what you're looking
for.

  Automatic backup link with Vyatta

  Hi guys,

I am looking to implement an automatic
backup link, with the same router setup (based on vyatta). Is it possible to
use BGP or OSPF do this? Can anybody explain my how?

   Thanks!
Vinicio
