Thanks for the tip... I have installed 'to' CF and that does work very well.
I think you are right, the best approach might be to get a USB CDROM and
install from that.  I'm just not thinking my system spec would be beefy
enough for a virtual machine, but I'm no pro.

would probably be much easlier than extracting and reinstalling drives.
