Hi Daniil,

I've been a bit quiet these past few months, busy relocating to the
opposite side of the world :-) now living in London!

I also had a hack at rebasing VyOS on a newer release; I was targeting
wheezy, but what I learned was mostly how different the old (pre-squeeze)
livecd system worked to make the same thing happen with newer versions. I
can definitely help here.

I was mostly held up just being unclear where this fits into our roadmap;
whether or not it should be done as part of 1.x or for later. Personally
I'd prefer it to be sooner just because squeeze-lts is coming to a close
early 2016. What's your thoughts here? Maybe lithium (1.2) stays on
squeeze and a later 1.3+ goes to jessie?

I can probably help with both other roles (especially given I'm actually a
programmer turned sysadmin - I could offer some advice on vyconfd if you
need any) but I will be realistic and take on one task for now.

Cheers
Patrick
