I tried upgrading one of my hosts which was running 1.1.5 to 1.2.0. Long story short I didn't realize this guy was 1.1.5 and was having some problems getting an ipsec vti config to commit. Once I noticed I figured I'd load the beta and see how that goes.
1. hit a signing error, but I think this should be expected from 1.1.5 2. once it reloaded wouldn't let me ssh in 3. I got on the console and logged in. 3a. When I did a sh config. it was empty except for a line showing an empty password for the vyos user. that was literally the only config. 3b. However if I did a sh interfaces I could see that my interfaces were configured. 3c. I tried to load config.boot and it started yelling at me that all of these configs were already set. 4. I rebooted again for giggles once It came back up and I logged in I could see 1 network-group. and the empty vyos user password in show config but the rest of the things that were configured were not showing up. but if I ran some operational commands I could determined that many things were configured. 5. At this point I set it to boot back to 1.1.5 and rebooted. I can keep this state for now to help find the issue.
