Unfortunately today there aren’t any commercially available cable modems that have a working CLAT implementation. We don’t have the purchasing power of say a Comcast, Time Warner or Charter, so we’ve been unable to convince Arris or Technicolor or any of the other CM manufacturers to implement it in their firmware. So the crux of the situation is we haven’t had much success convincing our customers to not run dual stacked because we don’t have a solution that an installer can just plug into their home networks. I think we’ve come to the point where we’re just willing to offer up something to the end user. And since VyOS runs on practically anything, our options for a secondary device for the end user are wide open. > > Do you have experience with PD on non-vyos linux machines? No. I’ve only begun to scratch the surface; however, this looks like a promising project: https://github.com/toreanderson/clatd. I’m trying to find some time in the coming couple of weeks to set up an access lab so I can do a mock-up. _______________________________________________ Vyos-developers mailing list Vyos-developers@lists.tuxis.nl https://lists.tuxis.nl/listinfo/vyos-developers
