Hi Nick, Good questions there on the dhcpcd mailing list. That answers about all the questions I could think of for how we're supposed to use dhcpcd.
One specific question to vyos then is: do we entirely replace use of dhcpcd? While this might be more work and testing required, it sounds like we'd be hacking around the existing system rather than providing a good design. If dhcpcd is designed as a single daemon to handle dual stack and multi interface, I would be inclined to embrace it for all dhcp client uses. Any thoughts here?
