Hussein,

The eval version you sent me has fixed the issue in both the test file and the original file.

Thanks for the quick response.

Could I please get a pro version of this fix without the 'XMLmind' random word feature?

I have a null pointer exception. I have cut the file down to a basic
test from a bigger file. I can not seem to fix the bigger file as easily
as just removing the footnote and re-adding it again. As can be done
with this example file attached.

The footnote number at the bottom of the page is indeed formatted strangely as if its style was changed by hand (e.g. making its font bigger) after creating the footnote normally.

Anyway, this should not cause XMLmind Word to XML to crash and burn.

I have been working with the tools as an evaluation for while. Things
were working well until the last 2 weeks. So I have been able to use the
tools on the original file up until about 6 versions ago.

I can send the bigger file if required.

Look forward to a quick fix,

Thank you for this excellent bug report!

The bug is fixed now in the online convert services.

You may download the following v1.1.0_01 distributions where the bug has been fixed too:

We have not tested these distributions and we are not advertising their existence as we plan to release XMLmind Word to XML v1.2 next week.

We reacted quickly to prove our good will and to encourage you to send us DOCX files for which w2x has problems, however we cannot guarantee that in the future, the bug fixes will be available that quickly.
