    While reviewing some other w3af packages I found this patch that's
applied to w3af before packaging it for debian [0] which you might be
interested in. It's about the auto-update feature, which won't work
for regular users if w3af is installed as a system package and will
also "break" the whole concept of packaging when run as root, since
the w3af version will be updated using the git master branch and the
system packager shows a different version from the real-installed one.

    Also found different ways of making w3af available by adding sh
scripts [1][2][3]
