Hi all,
Recently, I was trying to scan JavaScript application using spiderMan
plugin but I encountered problems with proxy configuration. It seems that
proxy doesn't work in my browser even though I set it to localhost:44444. I
was able to run spiderMan and exit it through the browser but I could browse
the application set as a target. What is even more strange, when running the
scan one more time I got the following log file:
[10/15/10 18:15:35] The target URL: http://localhost:7080/App/ is
unreachable.
[10/15/10 18:15:35] Error description: Too many retries (2) while
requesting: http://localhost:7080/App/
[10/15/10 18:15:35] No URLs found by discovery.
[10/15/10 18:15:35] Finished scanning process.
Now it is not even able to run spiderMan and the target is not reacheble. I
also discovered that I can run the application on WebScarab with no problems
and this is also using proxy.
I looked through your archive but I can't find any similar problem.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Cheers,
Damian
