One thing I've always had problems with is the proxy. It seems to be buggy.
Sometimes, it just doesn't intercept requests at all (but still shows them
in the history). but when changing the port on which to listen from 8080 to
something else, it works.

One bug I ran across yesterday is a message it shows on the web browser when
using the w3af proxy.

"w3af proxy error: expected string or buffer"
It was on a ubuntu 10.10 64 bits machine running latest revision 4202.
