Hi All, I guess this has come up before given the message from the code when I run it, but....
I am attempting to set up w3af on ubuntu 11.10 (need to keep that for now as upgrading breaks OpenVAS, and downgrading breaks other stuff) I have therefore used virtualenv to set up a python 2.6 wrap, and installed all the prereqs as given by w3af_console on startup (including pybloom) However, I get the following, no doubt common error: > the pysvn library is "pysvn was built against newer (svn, apr, etc.) > libraries then the ones installed on this system. > lib/python2.6/site-packages /pysvn/_pysvn_2_6.so: undefined symbol: > svn_sort_compare_items_as_paths". > > This is a BackTrack issue (works with Ubuntu 8.04 and 10.10) > that was fixed by them in their devel repositories, in order to > enable them you need to follow these steps: I am reluctant to force use of a backtrack repo on the offchance it will work on a 11.10 system. anyone know what the "official" fix is? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
