OK so it seems that the ~10 tests that I've tried work like a charm without the API break - i.e. the piglit dispatch is get_proc'ing after the context is made current :-) Must say that I'm not a huge fan of running the whole piglit run as it takes 4+hours in non-concurrent mode (otherwise bad GPU/system lockups happen)
