I run both Mac OS 8.6 and Windows 2000 Pro boxes and appears to work fine on either one. The site is unusual in that it appears to use both Java and Javascript in the menu frame. Perhaps you might not have Java enabled in your browser or your browser may have become corrupt and need to be replaced.
