The wind didn't give us a break all day long. Casting was quite a chore, but somehow I ended up with no new piercings. After comparing notes with Wes in the parking lot, I feel quite fortunate for the day I had. I landed somewhere between 15 and 20 fish and lost or missed about the same number. The fish ranged in size from 13 to 20 inches. I fished from Doc's to the stone retaining wall to the south, most of the fish being about halfway between the two. Best of all they were close to the beach. The first half dozen came to a size 6 chartreuse clouser. The rest hit Leland's little shrimpy pattern. Maybe I should hope for wind everyday at the Narrows. Humbly submitted, Jeff
