Hello all, I have just joined
the list. I am new to fly fishing in Washington, I grew up in Michigan and
learned fly fishing for trout on the AuSable River. Great fishing!
Never done any steelhead fishing before but I am bound and determined to try
some this summer. My question is what patterns should I be tying in
preparation for June, July timeframe?
I have already tied up some
color variations of the Woolly Bugger in size 10 hooks and I also have tied up
some Silver Hiltons and Bright Rows. Where do I go from here? Any
help will be greatly appreciated.
By the way I now live in
Everett and plan to fish the South Branch of the Stilly and maybe Canyon Creek
to start off and then move up the the North Branch and further
East.
Thanks in advance for any
help
