Hello,

I'm not really new to this listserver, but I've been offline for a
couple of years. It's good to be reading and sharing info again. In any
event, I want to post a message about a large bass I caught off Hamlin
Park this past weekend. The bass was a smallmouth and came to a black
sculpin with glued-on Teddy Bear eyes, about three inches long, and
stripped fast about three feet under the surface on a 10ft sink tip
line. I'm going to say that this smallie was three pounds, but he may
have been more. He taped out on my casting apron at 17" The fight was
short but very, very, brutal. The park is just north of the Seattle
Yaught Club, and just off the ship canal. I've seen lot's of big, fancy
bass boats around in the mornings so the bite must be on. Anyway, for
what it's worth there is my report. If you need any further info just
drop me a line.

Cliff
