Amen to the float tubing suggestion.
I had arthroscopic knee surgery the end of April and was back on my
feet MUCH sooner than I expected. The quad muscle motions in kicking
my float tubing were quite similar to the exercises my doc was having
me do. The knee is better now than at any time in the past couple
years.
