I'm going to be floating the lower fork of the salmon the end of July.
I'm going to take my 6 wt and try to catch something. I've heard
there are smallmouth. Being a trout/steelhead fisherman, this is new
to me. I was going to tie up some clousers, any ideas on this
fishery?
I know the lower fork of the salmon at this time isn't the best choice
for fishing, I'm going for the float ... but know I'll go nuts without
a rod in my hand.
Also, the float starts sunday. I was going to sneek over a couple of
days early ... will be near lewiston. Is the Clearwater the best to
fish for a couple of days before the trip??? Again any help would be
appreciated.
