Bruce,

I am partial to poppers, myself. But in the salt this time of year, I've
had good luck on baitfish patterns, particularly candlefish. After all, the
silvers are in close feeding on them, why not searuns? The only thing you
might experiment with is the choice of sinking or floating line. Searuns
are not particularly persnickety.
