I wondered what flies were used for Hoodsport kings.

I have some "odd" ones I use for the humpies when they're in.

Now about the 12 lb tippet.   If your pontoon boat is anchored then you can get away 
with a heavier tippet.. but don't make the mistake of going to heavy.  Otherwise 
you'll get drug over to Bremerton by the time you pop your tippet.

Or... you could end up with a tippet that's stronger than your backing.. and.. 
well.... I'll let you figure that one out.  Us "frugal types" don't like to lose 
pricey fly lines.
