I've not had all that much nymphing either, especially in moving water.
However, you might look into picking up a copy of the book Nymph
Fishing by Dave Hughes and Jim Schollmeyer (Frank Amato Press).
Amazon has it for $17.95 plus tax and shipping. It's well written and
illustrated and has quite a bit of detailed information.
Remember: the only bad questions are the ones you think are too simple ask.
