Well,

I fished the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River early this morning. I
hooked several cutthroat and whitefish up to 11 inches. All were caught on
a #14 black-bead and bodied gold ribbed hare's ear. I also caught a couple
of cutts on the "Easy Rider" dry fly. But fish were few and far between as
it was quite sunny out.

I did find the remains of a crayfish, a dead sculpin, and while fishing, a
dead 9 inch cutthroat floating down stream. The cutt had been dead for
quite some time as its eyes were clouded over.

I also had a guy ask if I'd seen his 14 year old black lab. Seems it had
floated down the river once before and he was worried it had done it again.
I let him know, I hadn't seen it. I sure hope that old dog is ok...
