I did go up the middle fork on Sunday and the water was too high to let me
convince myself to even try to do anything but enjoy the scenery.
By the way, going up I did pass two of the King County "Jeep" type vehicles
coming out, yet as I went up the road there were about half a dozen
campsites in some of the better spots. Don't they enforce the "day use only"
or is it just a ploy to let the scofflaws get another upper hand on those of
us who wait for the red lights at 3 am and don't jaywalk?
