Sure thing, Jeff. I made a number of them for friends a couple of years
ago. Go to the craft supply store (Michael's or So Many Crafts are good)
and buy clear plastic ball Christmas ornaments. Tie a fly and attach a fine
piece of tippet to it being careful to attach at the center of balance so
the fly hangs the way you want it too. Remove the top from the ornament.
(Your fly must fit through the neck of the ornament so check the hook size
before tying.) Suspend the fly inside the ornament and use a spot of glue
and the top to hold the tippet.

Subject: Christmas Ornament

So for my family's Christmas gift exchange this year we get to produce a
hand made ornament.

I was thinking about making something out of a fly. Maybe a fly in a little
shadow box. Maybe a fly attached to something.

Does anybody have experience with making something of this nature, a
Christmas ornament made out of a fly?

Thanks for any info.
