Dan,

I have put a few hours a day for the 27th, 28th and 29th and yesterday on
the Sky at the Reformatory with no result and no reports of anyone catching
fish either. Heck, I just assumed you all were intercepting the steelhead
on Whidbey. One thing, though - I have been hitting silvers in the salt on
euphasids, but I'd trade these 12-16 inchers for a good winter-run steelie
anyday. Also, going back and forth from a 6wt. single-hander with a dryline
to a two-handed speyrod with a type-3 tip every other day is an amazing
exercise in tailing loops and flopped casts. Turns out I have a meeting in
Oak Harbor next monday so it looks like I have an excuse to do a little
steelhead casting on Whidbey.

Leland.
