I agree with Mike. It seems the last few Sportsman's Shows had far fewer
deals in fly fishing gear. There were a still a few deals at the sporting
goods stores on stuff, like Sportco and Fred Meyer ( its hard to think of
them as a fly fishing source, isn't it). The fly fishing gear makers seem
to have made a pact not to make any deals during the shows anymore. All the
prices are the same as in the stores. Other than seeing some good fly
casting and tying information, there doesn't seem to be much reason to go
anymore. You can go to a fly fishing store anytime.
Well, seeing Lefty Cray is still worth the price of admission I guess.
