You know the old saying, "excuses are like as*&(les." I guarantee that no
body on the list was busier than I was at the time of the swap. I am sure
you are right that neither Gregg nor anyone else intended to cause any
problems. Still, they flaked out. The point is that they did not fulfill
their commitment and two of them didn't communicate at all. I made no
assumptions, chose my words carefully (including "flaked out") and had
plenty of information. Explain to me Jeff how you can have comrades and
friends if you can't rely on them?

Subject: Flaking Out?

Gregg Mindt is a personal friend of mine. He didn't "flake-out". He
took a job in another city and moved his home and family. This life
change happened to coincide with the fly swap. I can assure you Gregg
had no intention of causing problems for anyone. Furthermore, I don't
think Justin or any of the others did either. It would be great if
people were a bit more tactful in with their assumptions and chose their
words carefully. Making sure one has all the information before making
discourteous remarks is probably wise. Comraderie, friendships, and
civil behavior are the real products of this list; not flies.
