Went there on sat the 3rd-fished from 10:15 to 2 PM; had 6 rb to hand mostly on a #12 copper bodied chronomid with a black rib. No takes from 12:30 on; barometer was bouncing around which I don't find helpful-two local guys were doing quite well, one had probably 25 takes while I was there, said he was using an olive chron. which did nothing for me when I tried one. water temp is still 42 degrees- there was a bit of a hatch of #20 olive chrons- my imitation yielded no takes. This lake gets choked with weeds by about April 15 so now's the time. Gil Nyerges had 5-6 on his nyerges nymph & gil's monster, but he can catch fish in his bathtub. bill
