Foget it. Wind picked up at 9.00am and the lake was whitecapping by 10.30am. Went down to the east end of the lake to wade cast but was nearly bowled over by onshore waves !! Nunnally and Merry I am sure were equally inhospitable. My experience has been that once the wind decides to blow from NW to SE in that area at this time of the year, it's best to leave ; unless you like to hang out or come back in the late evening .
