Vince, I cut and splice the lines together to get different weightings, sink
rates, etc.  Some are quite fun to cast, Like a short heavy floating line (20'
of 12 wt) spliced to 550 grain lead core.  Hinges like pair of scissors...  I
have to wear a HARD HAT when casting and SAFETY GOGGLES.  I also have the back
of my body scarred up like a POW now...
