Greetings fellow fly-fishers:
Garret Grube here - I've landed 500 Steelhead, all wild, all above 20
pounds and all on skating flies. I've also spent countless hours in
therapy attempting to overcome my habitual lying...
I hail from the great state of Kansas, land of the gear fisherman. (You
may insert your Kansas joke here.) I was, however, fortunate enough to
spend my summers splashing through streams in Colorado and Arizona pursuing
Mr. Trout.
Since relocating to Western Washington I've spent many a day splashing
through your beautiful rivers (and lakes) continuing my pursuit of fishing
nirvana (which I finally reached in landing my first Steelhead, on a dry!)
