About a week ago was at local fishing store and heard the reports of all the Springers being caught on the Columbia below Bonneville damn. Since the darn things are next to impossible to catch on a fly rod, I bought a "gear rod" and went. One of the funnest times I've had. I caught 5 Chinook. 3 natives and 2 keepers.
