Crab Creek runs from just West of Spokane to where it empties into the
Columbia River near Vantage. Along its journey, it empties into Moses Lake
and the Potholes Res. The creek is popular with locals but doesn't receive
much press due to the limited access of the creek and the varying quality of
fishing. In some parts of the creek it is too warm for trout and other parts
grow monster bows and browns. Knowing where to fish is the key. I am stil
figuring it all out.

The lower portion of the creek tends to support either know fish or spiny
rays and junk fish. It seems that where it exits from the Potholes and also
the inlet into the Potholes could be interesting to try sometime.

The area of the creek that I have fished is on the BLM land. Turn off at the
Tokio Weigh Station exit just West of Sprague Lake. Head North on the
Tokio/Harrington road for about 5 miles. You will come across the creek as
if lows under the road.

The best fishing I have discovered is on the West side of the road. There are
some various deep holes and tailout waters that can hold large rainbows.
However, I must emphasize the fact that the fish per mile density of this
creek is pretty low. I sure wouldn't drive from the West side just to fish
it. You are better served on the Yak and Rocky Ford.

I have heard some incredible stories of Monster Browns on stretches of the
creek that run through private property but have yet to gain access.

That is about all I know:-)
