Kent,  just to make you feel worse, I was out fishing two weeks ago at one of the seep 
lakes and caught trout to a little over 23 inches.

I had that Friday off and decided to make it a two day fishing trip.  After two days 
of "success" I was bored and went home.  <yawn>

Truthfully, it wasn't technical fishing.  Just offer them something, big... bright... 
and moving.. and they'd jump all over it.
