My name is Eric and, like many I am also new to the board. I've been in
Seattle for 2 years and flyfishing for about 5. Lately, my primary focus
has been on exploring the nearby beaches in pursuit of sea-runs,silvers, and
blackmouths. Since I live near Greenlake, I've been visiting beaches like
Picnic Point, Golden Gardens, and Carkeek park as often as I can. I've been
hooking up with some beautiful fish but not as consistently as I would hope
to. My hope for participating in this forum would be to get advice from the
veterans and give reports and advice whenever I can.

I noticed there is a Les Johnson on the board. Les, are you the same Les
who wrote the books "Fishing for Sea-Run Trout" and "FlyFishing for Pacific
Salmon"? If so, I just wanted to say that your books are great and are the
basis of most of my salt water flyfishing knowledge to date. Any new books
on the way?

Eric
