Hi Everyone We made a trip up to Merrill yesterday. We decided to make it an afternoon trip to fish the evening hatch. As it turned out, we wound up fishing the afternoon rain storm. Like a cow on a flat rock. It's been along time since I've been that cold and wet (I left my rain gear in my other rig). The fish were small and the takes were light. After 3 hours or so we gave up. I'm not sure why it took 3 hours. Last time I reported that the Forest Service sign at the turn off from HW 503 was wrong. It said the campground and the boat ramp were closed. The campground was closed and the boat ramp is open. The sign has changed but the situation hasn't. The sign says both are now open but the boat ramp is still open and the campground still closed. For those who asked, the campground is "tent's only" and is only 5 or 6 camp sites. Jim Jones [EMAIL PROTECTED]
