I started at 9:30 am til 3 PM wind was 0 to 8 mph, bright sun, some clouds.
the only pattern that worked was a size 14 olive green carey, gold bead
head, green crystal flash rib & dyed olive pheasant rump hackle (like 12
strands) fished on a dry line 14' leader & cast to rising or sighted fish.
Poor mans bone fishing. the larger fish I caught in the shallows (only
place I caught any) were the strongest fish I caught all year. This pattern
was developed by Dave Schorsch of the Wa. fly club & has proven to be very
effective in lots of lakes both here & BC. signed, bill (the truth)
