Spent three days at Sun Lakes on an annual family camping event and
fished Dry Falls twice with three friends.
Thursday evening, Paul the fish magnet took three small RBs (< 13")
on a BH Prince Nymph fished deep off the point of the island Thursday
evening. The rest of us were blanked.
Fished Friday from about 2pm to 6pm with even worse results. Paul
took one 11 incher and hand another hook up. I had a hookup in the
back bay but ended up practicing long-distance C&R on the unseen
fish. The other two guys were blanked for the second day as well.
Water temp was 78 degrees at the surface and 72 degrees at 15 feet.
Has anybody fished nearby Castle Lake south of Coulee City?
