A buddy of mine has caught numerous kings trolling
Sinclair Inlet. I have flyfished off of the Port Orchard breakwater and
the smelt beach but have seen none close to the beach yet. I throw a fly
called cutt bait from flyanglersonline.com . It simulates a euphasid or
candlefish and is really a Sea Run Cutt fly but it catches salmon just
fine.
On a side note I went to Otto Jarsted park
and they have the creek all ripped up, hopefully the fish will be able to spawn
this year.
