I like to fish moving water for silvers so I always look to fish the
uptide side of points like the one at Colman Pool in Lincoln Park.
Sometimes I wander over to the downtide or back eddy side for a
looksee since baitfish fleeing marauding silvers sometimes don't pay
as much attention to the tide charts as we do. Also, when the wind
blows from the southwest on an outgoing tide, it presents a problem:
Do you fish the uptide side in the face of a howling wind, or wimp
out and fish the sheltered backeddy? There are bait and feeding
silvers at Lincoln Park now, so now would be a good time to simply go
over and take a look.
