I'm somewhat new to the list, have been lurking for awhile.
sent a post when I originally subscribed, but never heard a response.
its been great to learn from you all so far, and I'd like to hear any
recommends on the following.
most of the wa. state guidebooks seem filled with info on steelhead
rivers, but they do not seem to contain as much info on trout
rivers. what is the ratio in WA state? are there really that many more
steelhead rivers than trout rivers?
given that, I want to start seriously exploring wa state trout rivers,
preferably those rivers that are somewhat primitive... ie, off the
beaten
path and require a hike in.
what are the top 5 rivers you'd recommend for that?
or, what are your top 5 wa. state trout rivers in general?
